東京科学大学イノベーションデザイン機構は、世界を変えるスタートアップを創出するため学内独自のGAPファンドプログラム制度（芙蓉みらいGapファンドプログラム・東京科学大学基金「研究者スタートアップ支援」）を実施しています。今回は、2025年度に採択された精鋭の研究者５名が、９か月のアクセラレーションプログラムで磨き上げた技術シーズの事業化検討の成果を事業会社・投資家・起業家の皆様へ紹介します。

働く人のウェルビーイングや健康経営への関心が高まる一方で、更年期による不調は、いまだ「個人の問題」として見過ごされることも少なくありません。
パーソル総合研究所によると、更年期症状によって仕事の生産性が平均で約50％低下するという調査結果もあり、症状レベルが高いほど、仕事への意欲やパフォーマンス、継続就業意向にも影響が出ることがわかっています。
また、女性では治療が必要なレベルでも4割以上、男性では重度の症状がある人の7割近くが、自身の不調を更年期症状だと自覚していないという実態もあります。
さらに、更年期症状について上司に相談している女性は1割程度に留まり、「理解されない」「軽視される」と感じることで、相談しづらさにつながっているケースも少なくありません。
挑戦する人たちが、身体の変化とうまく付き合いながら、長くパフォーマンスを発揮していくために必要なこととは何か。
本セッションでは、フェムテック、男性更年期領域のヘルスケア、産業医・総合診療、それぞれの視点から、
「更年期って女性の話では？」
「男性更年期って聞いたことはあるけれど、実際はどうなの？」
「組織として、どう向き合うべき？」
といったテーマについてお話を伺います。

Naohiro "Hiro" Nishiguchi is Managing Director of Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Japan, President of Startup Genome Japan, and Japan Director for UC Berkeley Executive Education (Haas School of Business). He has spent over a decade working to globalize Japan's startup ecosystem — connecting corporations, investors, and policymakers with leading ecosystems worldwide. His core argument: the bottleneck is not the startups. It's corporate Japan's ability to move fast enough to work with them.
