Japan and Austria share a common challenge: turning future trends into concrete action for small and medium sized enterprises. We Are Unicorns (WAU), a Vienna based innovation strategy platform, brings its Future Radar to Tokyo for the first time. It's a live, data driven tool mapping innovation opportunities across people & culture, digital processes & AI, customer experience, business models, and sustainability.
In this interactive session, founders, corporate innovators, investors, and researchers work directly with the Radar as a shared canvas. Together we identify which Austrian SME innovations could accelerate Japanese businesses, and which Japanese practices, from manufacturing precision to service culture and community building, Austrian companies should adopt. The session closes with a live, co created radar snapshot that participants can take home as a practical opportunity map for future Japan Austria collaboration.

本セッションでは、Japanese Women's Leadership Initiative（JWLI）が主催する女性リーダー育成プログラム「JWLI Bootcamp 2026 Fukui」の修了生から選ばれた3名が、それぞれの現場で向き合う社会課題と、その解決に向けた取り組みやアイデアをピッチします。
テーマは、ITを活用した聴覚障害者の社会参加、医療的ケア児とその家族が安心して旅を楽しめる社会づくり、そして若年層に向けた性暴力予防教育。
異なる社会課題に挑む3人の女性リーダーが、どのような未来を描き、どのように社会を変えようとしているのか。
それぞれの実践とビジョンに、ぜひ耳を傾けてください。

概要 | Descriptions：
本セッションでは、Japanese Women's Leadership Initiative（JWLI）が主催する女性リーダー育成プログラム「JWLI Bootcamp 2026 Fukui」の修了生から選ばれた3名が、それぞれの現場で向き合う社会課題と、その解決に向けた取り組みやアイデアをピッチします。
テーマは、ITを活用した聴覚障害者の社会参加、医療的ケア児とその家族が安心して旅を楽しめる社会づくり、そして若年層に向けた性暴力予防教育。
異なる社会課題に挑む3人の女性リーダーが、どのような未来を描き、どのように社会を変えようとしているのか。
それぞれの実践とビジョンに、ぜひ耳を傾けてください。

Japanese Womenʼs Leadership Initiative (JWLI)は、米国ボストンと日本に拠点を置き、女性がリードする社会変革を促進します。日本で活動する女性リーダーを対象に、社会変革に焦点を当てた4つのプログラムを提供しています。この先駆的なプログラムの卒業生（アラムナイ）は、全国で220名以上にのぼり、日本を代表する女性リーダーです。

The Venture Café community, committed to the mission of “Connecting Innovators to Make Things Happen,” has brought about numerous “Happenings” in the past. This session is designed to introduce newcomers to our weekly signature event, “Thursday Gathering,” and facilitate networking among first-time attendees (Beginners).
