As the global entrepreneurship landscape undergoes rapid transformation and demand continues to grow among Sookmyung Women’s University startup teams seeking to expand into overseas markets, it has become increasingly important to identify promising ideas and provide commercialization support with a global market perspective from the earliest stages of entrepreneurship.
Japan, in particular, offers significant value as a strategic testbed for Sookmyung Women’s University startup teams preparing for international expansion, given its geographic and cultural proximity as well as its stable consumer market.
To support this process, the Sookmyung Women’s University Entrepreneurship Support Center will host a Demo Day in Japan, providing participating students with opportunities to receive mentoring from global entrepreneurship experts while validating their technologies and assessing market fit.
Through this practical process, ranging from Product-Market Fit (PMF) validation and expert mentoring to the further refinement and advancement of their business ideas, the program aims to develop entrepreneurs with the practical capabilities needed to successfully enter and compete in global markets.
グローバルな起業環境が急速に再編され、淑明女子大学の起業チームによる海外市場への進出ニーズが継続的に拡大する中、起業の初期段階からグローバル市場を視野に入れたアイデアの発掘と事業化支援の重要性が高まっている。特に、地理的・文化的な近接性と安定した消費市場を備えた日本は、淑明女子大学の起業チームが海外に進出するための戦略的な足掛かりとして、高いテストベッドとしての価値を有している。
そこで、淑明女子大学起業支援団は日本でのデモデイを開催し、参加学生がグローバル起業の専門家からメンタリングを受けながら、技術の検証や市場適合性を確認できるよう支援する。これにより、起業アイデアの市場適合性（Product-Market Fit）の向上、検証、メンタリング、高度化へとつながる実践的なプロセスを通じて、グローバル市場への進出が可能な実践型の起業能力を備えた人材を育成することを目的としている。

令和８年度税制改正において事業会社とスタートアップの協業の更なる促進やスタートアップの出口戦略の多様化を後押しする観点から、オープンイノベーション促進税制（OI税制）のM&A型が強化されました。また本年にはスタートアップM&Aガイダンスを策定し公表しています。このようなM&A促進政策について、具体的な活用方法とともにご紹介します。

令和８年税制改正において企業の研究開発投資を促進するための研究開発税制が強化されました。特に、AI、量子、バイオ等、戦略的に重要な技術領域に係る研究開発について創設した「戦略技術領域型（控除率40～50％）」の概要を説明させていただきます。積極的に研究開発を行う企業の皆様必見の内容です。

本セッションは、海外企業と日本企業との新たな接点の創出を目的に、テーマ別に開催するピッチイベントの初回です。今回は「スマートシティ」をテーマに、海外企業5社が登壇します。
事業環境の変化や顧客ニーズの多様化が進む中、企業には、既存の枠組みにとどまらず、社外の技術やサービス、知見を取り入れながら、新たな価値を創出していくことが求められています。その一つの選択肢として、海外企業との連携は、自社にないソリューションや新たな事業機会に触れる契機となります。

2026年8月4日（火）から6日（木）、青森県が主催し、IVSの運営チーム・4Sが企画運営する招待制スタディツアー「青森クエスト2026」が開催されました（IVS2026オフィシャルサイドイベント）。全国から経営者・投資家・起業家らが青森に集まり、八戸では酒造・水産加工・漁業・畜産の現場を歩き、青森市では青森県内の有力者とのネットワーキングや知事とのトークセッションなどを開催。夜は八戸三社大祭の後夜祭を楽しみながらのネットワーキングと、青森市ではねぶた祭に跳人として加わり、最終日は六ヶ所村のフュージョンエネルギー研究所へ。「答えを持ち込むのではなく、課題を現場で発見する」を掲げた3日間です。
このセッションには、仕掛けた当事者が揃う予定です。企画・事務局を務めた萩原慶太郎さん、八戸で地域活性化に取り組む株式会社ごり-やく 代表の佐藤容紹さん（通称ゴリさん）、主催した青森県 経済産業部 企業立地・創出課長の伏見朋和さん、そして発起人である株式会社天地人の櫻庭康人さん。3日間で実際に何が起きたのか、「地域×スタートアップ」の場をどう設計したのかを報告します。 ※登壇者は予定です。変更になる場合があります。

令和８年度税制改正において事業会社とスタートアップの協業の更なる促進やスタートアップの出口戦略の多様化を後押しする観点から、オープンイノベーション促進税制（OI税制）のM&A型が強化されました。また本年にはスタートアップM&Aガイダンスを策定し公表しています。このようなM&A促進政策について、具体的な活用方法とともにご紹介します。
大企業とディープテック・スタートアップの連携を、技術検証から市場導入、調達・購入まで後押しする「大企業等のスタートアップ連携・調達加速化事業（CPP・GX CPP）」の公募を下旬から公募開始予定です。本事業の概要とともに、新たに公表した「起業家主導型カーブアウト実践ガイドブック」や、大企業とスタートアップの連携を支援するJOICの取組・イベントについてご紹介します。
令和８年税制改正において企業の研究開発投資を促進するための研究開発税制が強化されました。特に、AI、量子、バイオ等、戦略的に重要な技術領域に係る研究開発について創設した「戦略技術領域型（控除率40～50％）」の概要を説明させていただきます。積極的に研究開発を行う企業の皆様必見の内容です。

海外企業5社によるピッチを通じて、各社の事業やソリューションを紹介し、日本企業との連携の可能性を探ります。
本セッションは、海外企業と日本企業との新たな接点の創出を目的に、テーマ別に開催するピッチイベントの初回です。今回は「スマートシティ」をテーマに、海外企業5社が登壇します。
事業環境の変化や顧客ニーズの多様化が進む中、企業には、既存の枠組みにとどまらず、社外の技術やサービス、知見を取り入れながら、新たな価値を創出していくことが求められています。その一つの選択肢として、海外企業との連携は、自社にないソリューションや新たな事業機会に触れる契機となります。
本セッションでは、多様な領域で事業を展開する海外企業5社が登壇し、各社の事業概要、製品・サービス、日本企業との連携に関する関心について紹介します。各社6～7分程度のピッチを通じて、複数の海外企業の特徴や提供価値を、一度に知ることができます。イベント企画上も、海外企業によるピッチ、質疑、ネットワーキングを予定しています。
さらに、ピッチ後には全体質疑を行うほか、セッション終了後にはネットワーキングを予定しています。登壇企業との直接の対話を通じて、自社の事業や課題との接点、今後の連携の可能性を探っていただけます。

2026年8月4日（火）から6日（木）、青森県が主催し、IVSの運営チーム・4Sが企画運営する招待制スタディツアー「青森クエスト2026」が開催されました（IVS2026オフィシャルサイドイベント）。全国から経営者・投資家・起業家らが青森に集まり、八戸では酒造・水産加工・漁業・畜産の現場を歩き、青森市では青森県内の有力者とのネットワーキングや知事とのトークセッションなどを開催。夜は八戸三社大祭の後夜祭を楽しみながらのネットワーキングと、青森市ではねぶた祭に跳人として加わり、最終日は六ヶ所村のフュージョンエネルギー研究所へ。「答えを持ち込むのではなく、課題を現場で発見する」を掲げた3日間です。
このセッションには、仕掛けた当事者が揃う予定です。企画・事務局を務めた萩原慶太郎さん、八戸で地域活性化に取り組む株式会社ごり-やく 代表の佐藤容紹さん（通称ゴリさん）、主催した青森県 経済産業部 企業立地・創出課長の伏見朋和さん、そして発起人である株式会社天地人の櫻庭康人さん。3日間で実際に何が起きたのか、「地域×スタートアップ」の場をどう設計したのかを報告します。 ※登壇者は予定です。変更になる場合があります。
