概要 | Descriptions:

We live in a world where women in the senior-most leadership positions feel pressured to sleep three hours a night to seem competent and strong.

Where it’s encouraged, if not preferred, that women display ‘softer’ qualities like empathy and care in their personal lives, but hide their vulnerabilities at work.

Join Diya as she demonstrates how you can take your power back by embracing the full spectrum of your feelings.

You will leave with:
  • Greater awareness of your approach to dealing with feelings

  • Skills to notice, name and think about feelings

  • Skills to turn your feelings into action that moves you forward

  • Hopefully, greater permission to let yourself be human!

Founder

Diya John is a registered counselor and psychotherapist with a Masters in Psychology and the founder of Therapy Garden, a practice built to make evidence-based counseling more accessible to expats, immigrants, and internationals navigating life in Japan and beyond.

Her path to mental health work is personal: she moved to Japan in the midst of the pandemic, faced her own experience with anxiety and burnout, and spent a decade in the corporate world before choosing to build something that could help others through the same terrain.

Therapy Garden exists at the intersection of lived experience and clinical practice, helping international communities conquer anxiety and build a meaningful life, wherever they are.
