As a founding member of tonari, a social venture and startup based in Japan, my role involves taking the lead in creative PR, marketing, and community building.
With a decade of professional experience in the TV and music industry, I've served as a director, producer, and business development executive, handling diverse content like educational programs, animation, documentaries, music and fashion shows, and digital content involving motion capture, holograms, and mobile applications.
My passion centers around cultural projects, education, and city design, where the fusion of music, art, and technology drives me forward. Being multi-lingual and globally minded, I strive to offer a unique perspective, always seeking innovative ways to engage and inspire audiences.
- Fully fluent in English and Japanese, with experience living in three countries and visiting over 65.
Loretta is a Japanese/English bilingual entrepreneur who works with New York-based budding tech, media and financial tech startups.
Under her brand, KemushiChan, she also provides marketing and localization consulting to firms that are looking to go global in Japan.
Elena Sakuda is a filmmaker and multidisciplinary artist based in Japan, whose work has been featured in national and international film festivals.
After contributing to major U.S. productions such as Oppenheimer and The Offer, she now works as a Technical Operations Director at a global visual production company while developing experimental films that explore the lives of artists.
She is committed to supporting independent filmmakers and fostering creative communities.
